Academic Integrity Seminar

The Academic Integrity Seminar is an opportunity to use educational resources of an academic institution to reaffirm students found responsible for acts of academic dishonesty the values of academic integrity. Also addressed in the seminar are the reasons why students cheat and the consequences of cheating to themselves and to the other members of the University community. The Seminar is a discourse based on the Socratic method that poses questions to students and asks them to draft responses. It is on the basis of these responses that the Honor Council's XF petition committee determines whether or not the "X" should be removed.
